Southampton Football

So where is Adam Lallana going to go now Pochettino has moved to Spurs? It looked a bang on deal that Lallana would move to Liverpool after the fantastic season they had and Lallana looked absolutely perfect for them! My brothers a Liverpool fan and he would be delighted with the addition but one must think surely Pochettino is going to go for Lallana now, so it will come down to how close is there bond? I myself do not know but it looked pretty damn good!

I would not want to be a Southampton fan round about now you get back into the premiership put together a fantastic team and now you are just left wondering who else will leave? There chairman Cortese was apparently the man who started this revolution and he left earlier on in the year. I remember reading an article saying that he had got the training ground like a social club and everyone was enjoying being there. I can also remember reading that at least one player had a clause in his contract stating he would be free to leave if Cortese ever upped sticks and left. Strange one.

The players Southampton could lose this season is ludicrous just look at the talent they are going to struggle to keep hold of:
Lallana - My personal opinion is that he has played his last game for the Saints and it just depends how much they will get for him depending on his World Cup performances. I would say £15mm is a fair price, but I can see him going for more.

Luke Shaw - The same as Lallana he must of played his last game for Southampton. Shaw is a supreme talent and one that you may not see in English football for a while in his position. We can all say Baines & A.Cole but Shaw is different I think he has it all! A.Cole is without doubt the greatest left back ever to grace the Premiership and still has a year or two left there if he wants it! But Shaw is the future and its not like we are going to pop out another Cole anytime soon so that is why to me Shaw is a massive signing for who ever he chooses. At just 18 though he must pick wisely and I am sure he will. I have heard he was a Chelsea fan but are Chelsea prepared to pay the £28mm reported like Man Utd are? I am not sure. I do not think you will ever get Shaw cheaper than £25mm and rightfully so. He would be my LB at the World Cup by the way.

Jay Rodriguez - fantastic player, so unfortunate with his injury towards the end of the season! Would of definitely been on the plane to Brazil! His injury might just save Southampton though but if he carries on where he left of, he may well leave in January. I cannot see him going for cheaper than £14mm

Its not like Southampton are struggling to chuck out talent I am very impressed with James War-Prowse he has a big future himself.

At the end of the day it is a lot of money for Southampton but with no disrespect at all towards Southampton they just cannot replace them players with any amount of money! As well as losing a manager who has done fantastic there!

Lets get straight into it David Luiz for £40mm+ is just crazy isnt it? He is a good footballer do not get me wrong but what is his best position? I like him as a footballer and I like him as a person (not that I know him personally) but I am a West Ham fan and I wouldn't have him at CB but I would definitely have him in my starting 11 obviously. To me the transfer is done, not much point in debating will it? Wont it? Happen, because it just makes so much sense for both sides. PSG get a really good player and he will not have to defend half as much in a PSG team in the french league, compared to a Chelsea team in the Premier League, I mean that is just worlds apart is it not? Chelsea get alot of money and they can spend it so many ways. I do not know who is available but if I was Jose, I would look at 2 players: Diego Costa - Can I get him for £50mm, the thing for me with Diego Costa is that his fitness has been poor lately but that is because he has been so influential and A.Madrid just ended up doing extraordinary this season, he picked up a hamstring injury and Madrid just kept rushing him back. The problem for waiting after the world cup is what if he has a stormer? His value will go up! If he has a mediocre World Cup his value is not going to change! What would you do, before? after? or never if you had the chance????
Paul Pogba - He is not going to be cheap at all is he? Got to be £30mm+ but his value will only rocket! He is sure to have a good world cup, as long as France dont **** up again! This lad has everything to make it in the premier league, Man Utd must be kicking themselves at letting this boy go!
Chelsea also have Kurt Zouma arriving in the summer who I believe will be a great transfer and great backup to the fantastic partnership of cahill/terry. I have been buying Zouma for a few years now on Football Manager and he always turns into a beast.
