Nov. 22 (Bloomberg) -- Harvard University defeated Yale University 10-0 to win a share of the Ivy League college football title, its third in the past five years.
Harvard (9-1, 6-1 Ivy League) is co-champion with Brown University (7-3, 6-1), which beat Columbia University 41-10. The Crimson, 13-time winners of the league title, have defeated Yale in seven of their past eight games, including last year’s 37-6 victory.
Gino Gordon opened the scoring at Harvard Stadium in Boston with a 4-yard run at 8:06 in the first quarter. The sophomore running back rushed for 168 yards on 39 carries, while Harvard quarterback Chris Pizzotti ran for 74 yards on 16 attempts. READ STORY
