Dolphins' Channing Crowder ejected for fighting

|Sun-Sentinel.com

MIAMI GARDENS - Dolphins linebacker Channing Crowder was ejected from Sunday's game against the Patriots because of a fight he had with left tackle Matt Light at the end of Stephen Gostkowski's 30-yard field goal.

The fourth-quarter confrontation started as a shoving match. Crowder pushed at Light's helmet with both his hands and Light responded by snatching Crowder's helmet off his head.

Light, the Patriots starting left tackle, then grabbed Crowder's dreadlocks and repeatedly punched at his head while holding his hair down.

Crowder eventually broke away from the exchange. But by that time players from both teams were exchanging shoves. After a minute or so the referees eventually restored order.

Crowder, who contributed eight tackles, and Light were ejected after a review of the incident. Reggie Torbor replaced Crowder as the inside linebacker who played next to Akin Ayodele.

Both players will likely face fines from the NFL. SEE INTERVIEW HERE
