Alabama remains in top spot, followed by Texas and Oklahoma

GAINESVILLE - After Saturday's 65-21 win against Texas Tech, Oklahoma coach Bobby Stoops jumped on the campaign trail, even taking an indirect shot at Florida.

"If it's logical for one, it's logical for the other," Stoops said in his post-game news conference. "If you're going to forgive other teams with one loss because they're playing well now, well, we're playing pretty well now too. If it's logical for someone else it's logical for us."

Some pollsters may have paid attention.

While Alabama remained No. 1 in all the polls and the BCS on Sunday, Florida jumped to No. 2 in this week's Associated Press writers poll and Harris Interactive voting. But Oklahoma is No. 2 in the USA Today coaches' poll. The USA Today and Harris polls are two-thirds of the BCS formula along with a combination of the computer rankings. READ STORY
